About

Dr. Joseph Mustazza was born and raised in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania where he graduated from North Penn High School. He went on to complete his undergraduate studies in Genetics and Developmental Biology at Penn State University and then his doctorate from the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. Dr. Mustazza continued his education at Temple University  for three additional years after receiving his doctorate to complete his specialty training in Periodontology and Oral Implantology as well as a Masters in Science in Oral Biology. 

Dr. Mustazza is board certified in Periodontics and Implant Surgery through the American Board of Periodontology. His scope of practice includes treating periodontal disease, gingival augmentation, bone grafting, and replacement of teeth with dental implants. Dr. Mustazza treats all of his patients holistically, where he takes all of their medical conditions into consideration prior to formulating a treatment plan and determines how he can help with managing some of these conditions through maintaining his patient’s periodontal health.  

Dr. Mustazza prides himself in staying current with the latest and greatest techniques and technologies to offer his patients the highest quality of care via the least invasive treatment modalities. He is especially proud to offer his patients a large array of minimally invasive techniques through use of his Periolase laser including LANAP and LAPIP. In his free time, Dr. Mustazza enjoys spending time with his wife Samantha, playing guitar and drums, collecting trading cards and being a big fan of the Philadelphia sports teams. Dr. Mustazza looks forward to meeting you and helping you with all of your periodontal needs.
